Rodney Medina

Rodney Medina is a Producer/Director with over 15 years of experience in the television journalism, advertising and entertainment industries.

In 1987, Rodney helped launch daily news programming for KTIE in Southern California as a copywriter and editor.

In 1989 Rodney worked in the infomercial industry as a Producer where he oversaw studio and field productions.  He was also intergral in product development and branding for Guthy-Renker, Direct America & National Media.

Rodney served as Production Manager for Charter Media in Southern California where he developed the most profitable revenue producing production department for Charter Media systems in the nation.  He also produced and directed 3 seasons of live broadcasts for high school, college and professional sports for Charter Communications.

As a Lighting Director & Camera Operator for major television networks he has worked for CBS, ESPN, TV Land, Comedy Central, Animal Planet & G4TV in series and dramatic programming.

Rodney’s expertise as a Director of Photography and Editor is most notable in a series of films for Mission Without Borders, documentaries detailing the conditions of post-communist orphanages in Romania & China.

Ashley Reid

After attending LA Verne University Ashley joined the KTIE news department as a camera-operator and editor. Within two years Ashley was assigned to the ad sales dept. to produce, shoot, and edit local commercials. Ashley served 4 years as Creative Director of Custom Video, a corporate video production company, where he was engaged from idea conception through post-production.

In 1991 Ashley was hired at the newly launched production company DirectAmerica. He worked his way through the ranks of the company being promoted to Production Coordinator and then onto Production Manager. 

Ashley Reid has been a freelance Director of photography and producer for upward of twelve years; working with several networks, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, ESPN, TV LAND, DYI, NBC’s ACCESS HOLLYWOOD.

Prior to joining The Media Professionals Ashley, was the Lighting Designer for G4 Television Network. The network produces: 4-6 live specials; 8 studio programs, a daily live show and on air promos. Ashley Reid brings more than twenty years of television production and marketing experience to the table.

Mark Chapman

Mark Chapman has over 10 years of experience as a camera operator.  He has worked with ESPN on their Sunday Night Baseball, Thursday Night College Football and X-Games broadcasts.  He has also worked for TNN, WNBA for the Lifetime Network, NBC affiliate KMIR in Palm Springs and various high school sports shows.  Mark worked as lead camera operator and floor director for Charter Communications game of the week, which consisted of high school and college athletics.

Mark also produced several college and high school basketball games with his own production company, Chaps Video Productions, which Mark started in 1998.  Along with his sports career, Mark has also produced several corporate videos and independent films.

Mark brings many years of knowledge and experience to any production that he is involved with.

Ken Ceizler

In 1981, Ken Ceizler was part of the original team that launched MTV: Music Television. He produced and directed both studio and on-location series. He was also involved in the productions of MTV specials including MTV New Years Eve, The VMA awards, MTV Spring Break, Farm Aid, and The US Festival. He also produced and directed various rock documentaries including Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates and Billy Joel.

During his time at MTV, the channel and Ken’s responsibilities grew as he was promoted to the titles of Creative Director, Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, where he oversaw all of the MTV studios.

In 1989, Ken went to work for the recently launched, Fox Broadcasting Company, in the development and production division known as FTSP where he produced and directed various pilots and series for both syndication and the Fox Network. His credits there include the stand-up comedy series “Comic Strip Live” which ran on the Fox network for 5 years as well as “Sunday Comics”, which ran for 2 seasons.

In 1999, after FTSP was discontinued, Ken became an independent producer/director. Over the course of the past few years he has produced/directed shows for Fox Broadcasting, MTV, Nickelodeon, HBO Downtown Productions, Disney Channel, Comedy Central and E Entertainment. A partial list of his credits include “The Tom Green Show” for MTV, “Lizzie McGuire”, “That’s so Raven” and “Even Stevens” for the Disney Channel, “Lie Detector” for the Fox Network and “The Family Feud” for syndication.

Most recently, Ken was the Production Consultant for Microsoft Corporation, where he conceived and designed the production model for their new content site, On10.
